The Bankes Arms Hotel and public house, Corfe Castle was originally built in 1549, it is placed in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck ,in the shadows of the historic ruins of Corfe Castle. Ideally based for seeing the local sights and the surrounding towns of Swanage, Bournemouth, Poole, Wareham and Weymouth
The Bankes Arms offers en-suite accommodation in the heart of Corfe Castle. For families, walkers, rambling groups, cyclists and day trippers, every day guests are welcomed to explore the Jurassic coastline with us.

The sixteenth century building offers a very comfortable family hotel, car park, large garden and is within three miles of the south west coastal path and beaches.
The ten bedroom hotel offers various accommodation within the heart of the Dorset countryside. Amazing views of Corfe Castle and the Swanage Steam Railway are visible from many aspects of the hotel. Accommodation varies from en-suite, to four posters, singles and twin rooms.
We pride ourselves on sourcing fresh, local and seasonal food from around Dorset and specialise in Mediterranean food
Breakfasts, lunches, dinners and cream teas are served all day in either the restaurant or the outdoor terrace.
Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island are all short drives away. Golf enthusiasts are spoilt for choice with 5 golf courses in a five mile radius.
The stunning Isle of Purbeck is an incredible tourist destination within the Jurassic coastline.
